My handsome husband has been friends with Blake for forever.
In fact, Blake used to live in what is now our foster boys' bedroom (minus the crib, fortunately) before we were married. And when Blake started talking about this girl named Lindsay, we were elated.
Every time we saw him, he was happier & happier. And just like that, they were engaged. Happy all around. I think you might be able to tell ;)
One of my favorite things to do is find the best, most deserving couples out there. I'll ask my followers to nominate their family & friends and tell me what makes them the awesome, beautiful couple they are. Robbie & Nicole were nominated and I had the pleasure of blessing them with this engagement session.

Derryn & Leiah - what a couple.
The first part of this session came to life after I saw Leiah's hat. Immediately, I had a vision for this style with the classic car; and I'm so thankful they trusted me enough to pull it off!
The rest of the evening was spent celebrating their love. Their gorgeous relationship, their blazing hearts for each other, and the anticipation of their upcoming wedding day. It is a joy to know these two lovely souls. Have I mentioned recently how much I adore my clients and my job?
She is from a small town in Tennessee. He is from Portland. They met in passing while away at college one day, and Rikki was sure to get his number from a friend. She contacted Logan, they grabbed lunch, and the rest is history...
They will be married on June 15th, 2013 on beautiful family property, surrounded by sunflowers & love!

My VERY first love shoot ever was of my parents. Because, well, when you are entering into the world of photography...your family & friends become your models (like it or not!). It was really fun for all of us, but I couldn't wait to get them in front of my camera again now that I know what I'm doing ;) This time...we would photograph them IN HAWAII. Because, well, when you are in Hawaii...everything is better. :)
