I was probably a little sweaty when I first met Amanda. In the middle of one of our hottest weddings last summer, she stood by her dear friend Jessica as a bridesmaid. This year, their roles were switched and I got to be there again! But not so sweaty this time, which is always nice.

Doug & Amanda are back! After their absolutely heavenly pre-wedding session, I could hardly wait to photograph their wedding day.
These two are beautiful. They are passionate about each other, adventurous together, constantly making one another laugh, and they manage to bring a sense of peace with them everywhere. It's a joy to be around them and I was so blessed to be a part of their day.
We started out at the Portland Temple, where we met them outside right after their ceremony. They were greeted by their family & friends who cheered to celebrate the newlyweds, and then proceeded to take some beautiful images there before the reception at her parent's beautiful home. What. A. Day. And an awesome one, at that.

Doug & Amanda were married on May 25,2013 at The Portland Temple. To capture even more of their beautiful love, we had a pre-wedding session a few weeks before... which is my new favorite thing ever. :) I think you guys will understand why pretty quickly here... I just can't contain it. Our first 2013 wedding was a huge success (they got married! How could it not be?). And while I never do blog posts of sneak peeks, I just really didn't want to keep these to myself anymore.... Jordenn & Josh, thank you SO much for asking me to document your day!
